The Foundation supports preservation of the Maryland Club’s Clubhouse in the context of Baltimore’s Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Preservation
Built in 1891, the Clubhouse we are preserving is now over 130 years old and still serving its original purposes, expanded and growing with today’s culture. The Governor’s Consulting Committee to the Maryland Historic Trust approved an application for listing of the Clubhouse on the National Register of Historic Places. We are proud of the recognition of this historic structure for Baltimore City, for Maryland, and for the Nation. We aim for the Clubhouse to remain a landmark for the long-term future.
